尊敬的各位校领导，亲爱的老师孩子们，各位家长：

    大家好！

    时光的步伐快如流水，匆匆三年如白驹过隙。今天在这个美好的时刻，我首先感谢高2021届全体老师孩子们以及全体家长的信任，感恩石室中学国际高中北湖AP课程中心每一位老师的辛苦付出。

    孩子们，在过去的三年，世界经历了风云变化，你们也从一群懵懂的少年蜕变为一个个有个性的青年，1千多个日夜你们经历了播种收获，磨砺考验，实现了自己的梦想。作为父母我们为你们的成长感到骄傲。

    今天的结束意味着又一个新起点的开启，海阔天空任鸟飞，你们需要更加努力去丰盈你的双翼，用知识塑造自己的性格，提升自己的能力，方能为未来的自己争取更多选择人生的权力，实现你更高远的梦想。另外给孩子们唠叨几句，坚持运动，让自己拥有一个健康的身体，远离疾病和伤痛。学会自我反省，不断去更新自己，提升自己，才能不断地进步。尝试微笑，不论何时何地遇到多难的事，记得尝试去微笑，既会给人带来快乐，也会让自己感到愉快。坚持良好的作息，你才会有更好的精力和体力，去面对每天的变化。学会调整心态，一个人的心态，往往会决定他的生活质量、人生境遇、为人处世的方式，保持良好的心态，有助于你们拥有健康、财富和幸福。未来也许风风雨雨，也许平平坦坦，但生活之所以美好，是因为它不总是晴空万里，也不总是困难重重，当你们每个人遇到困难时，请相信父母身边会是你温暖的港湾。

    最后，我要说的是“感恩”。我记得《飞鸟集》里有这样一句：谢谢火焰给的光明，但是不要忘了那执灯的人。在此我们要感恩石室中学北湖AP课程中心的每一位老师，特别是班主任肖艳老师，是你们无私的奉献和付出，引导着孩子们健康成长，并认真尽责的传授知识，帮助孩子们实现梦想，希望孩子们不忘师恩！在此我代表全体家长感恩石室中学为孩子们创造的优良学习环境，感恩所有老师辛苦的付出，感谢孩子们为自己的未来添砖加瓦，在此我仅代表全体家长由衷的说一声：你们辛苦了！

Good morning, everyone. I am Laisi from senior three class 13.As I’m graduating, I'm honored to express my feelings in a speech before graduation.

The ceremony three years ago was called the beginning of the school year, and today, three years later, is graduation, which means we will all say goodbye to the diving and fun times in the classroom, the swiping of cards in the school cafeteria, and the evening study sessions that ring at the right time at night. However, the root of the word graduation does not mean "end, completion", but rather "beginning, progress". Today, we are assembling in a grand manner, not to celebrate "the end" but to cheerfully “begin”, not to commemorate "the completion" but to announce "the progress.

Looking back on the past three years, if you ask me what has changed in me, the first thing that comes to mind is that I have become more mature and independent than I was in my junior year. For example, I can deal with difficulties with ease, and I can take the initiative to make friends in the ever refreshing circle of people as I grow up, and I can work harder for my goals without distractions during my studies.

Since this is my last speech in my high school career, I would like to give myself a successful ending. As I count the moments of high school, I find that gratitude is actually greater than the joy I feel today. I am most moved by my headteacher and my family. You have helped me a lot and supported me and encouraged me during this time. When I was emotionally dysfunctional because of the epidemic, it was your guidance that slowly brought me out of the darkness. At the same time, my good friend Karen also gave me great encouragement and silent companionship. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank all of you. Not only that, I would like to thank the TOEFL and AP team led by Ray, Joy, Mr. Wang Pengwei and other foreign teachers like Jeff, JC and Adam. I was able to get into the school I want to go to today because of such a strong teaching team, and you all deserve a lot of credit. If I had to use a metaphor, the first image that comes to my mind is that I am floating on a vast ocean and the boat underneath me is all of you, escorting me to where I want to go. In addition, I would also like to thank myself for being myself at the beginning. Because I chose the path of the international department without any hesitation, I can be the "me" now. In this environment, I began to participate in various activities that I had never thought of before in junior high school, and my horizons became more and more open, and the depth of my thinking went up to a great level. I owe all this to the experience I have had in the International department over the past three years. I believe the same is true for the rest of you. Each of you is a hero in your own way.

After high school, we will all go our separate ways and enter college, a place where we can meet many challenges and opportunities. This graduation is even more special for us because we will be going to a different country to start our independent life overseas. In fact, I was scared but looking forward to it. I'm afraid that I won't fit in well in a new environment, that I won't make good friends like you guys, but I'm also looking forward to it. I look forward to the new environment where I will be able to train myself and make close friends like you guys. We don't know what the future holds in a few months, do we? But there are still things we can hold on to: spend more time to explore around the country, spend more time to taste the food in the country, and most important：take more time to spend with family and friends.

Finally, I would like to give you a quote from Banting: the greatest joy in life is not in what you possess, but in the process of pursuing something. This quote applies to all the people present, and I wish you all to find your values and realize your dreams in this new stage of life.
