自2011年,在四川省教育国际交流协会的支持下，成都石室中学成为多伦多大学士嘉堡校区绿色通道合作学校。绿色通道项目是多伦多大学（士嘉堡校区）和中国十所顶尖高中的合作项目。

该项目教导学生积极参与，教授各项研究技能，并且深入地理解学术诚信及其要求。学生在密集型学术英语学习的同时也在慢慢适应加拿大的新生活。在成功完成该项目之后，学生将正式开始本科一年级的学习.

9月20日下午，由中美课程中心主办的2018多伦多大学（士嘉堡校区）绿色通道项目宣讲会在我校召开。多伦多大学（士嘉堡校区）招生官Michael Li 给在座的同学及家长们分享了留学加拿大的优势及优秀中国学生在多大的发展情况。

Michael Li 也详细地介绍了课程。该项目由为期12周的多伦多大学英文密集训练课程（语言课程/学分课程）和4年制多伦多大学（士嘉堡校区）本科课程组成。本科预备课程旨在提高学生的英文理解和写作能力，帮助学生完成多伦多大学的本科学习。

为指导学生们顺利申请项目，Michael Li再次强调了申请流程：

1. 申请学生必须将所有要求的报名材料九月底截至日期前寄到绿色通道办公室。多伦多大学士嘉堡校区将在10月初第一星期公布符合标准参加绿色通道入学考试的学生名单。

2. 在10月第二星期，多伦多大学士嘉堡校区将在中国合作高中进行英文笔试和面试。并在高中成绩和10月笔试, 面试成绩的基础上进行择优录取。录取学生必须达到多伦多大学士嘉堡校区的学术入学水平要求并达到多大对学生高中所学学科的要求。

3. 多伦多大学士嘉堡校区正式有条件的录取通知书将于2017年12月初寄出。获得录取学生在接到通知书后2018年1月5 决定是否接受录取，一旦接受，学 生须交纳13,600加币多伦多大学士嘉堡校区12周绿色通道费用（付费形式为银行汇票，收款人为 University of Toronto）。如果学生赴加学习许可申请被拒或因为高三成绩不达标而导致录取取消，多伦多大学则退回全额学费。学生在缴费后如由于其他任何原因放弃该 录取，多伦多大学将扣除加币4,000后退回余款。每年四月一日以后，将不再受理任何退款请求。

4. 多伦多大学士嘉堡校区在2018年元月底或二月初收到学生的会考成绩和高三上学期期末考试成绩后，重新审核录取。上述之成绩必须和学生的一贯表现相当，否则多伦多大学有权取消录取。

5. 学生必须在绿色通道项目结束以前提交高中毕业文凭原件，并附有英文翻译.

6.学生必须达到多伦多大学士嘉堡校区对高中成绩，科目的最低要求才能正式获得录取。

In support of  Sichuan Education Association for International Exchange (SEAIE), Chengdu Shishi High School has become the cooperative school of the University of Toronto Scarborough campus since 2011 . UTSC has partnership with the top 10 Chinese high school to offer“Green Avenue”program.

The program teaches active participation, research skills, and provides a thorough understanding of academic integrity requirements. Students adapt to their new life in Canada while engaging in an intensive study of academic English. After successful completion of the program, students begin their first-year of undergraduate studies.

16:00 p.m -17:00 p.m in the afternoon of September 20th, the China-US curriculum center and UTSC sponsored the 2018 seminar of the“Green Avenue”program at Shishi High School . The Admission Officer of the university Michael Li shared with the students as well as the parents the advantages of studying in Canada and the outstanding Chinese student cases recently.

Michael Li also introduced the courses in the program. The  program is composed of 12 weeks intensive English training course (English and college foundation course)and four years college courses. The 12 weeks preparation course is intended to increase students’ comprehension and writing ability to ensure students successfully complete the undergraduate study.

To help the students to apply for the project successfully, Michael Li stressed the application process again:

1.We will announce the list of students who are selected to enter the Green Path Entrance Test and Interview by the first week of October .

2.We will hold the Green Path entrance test and interview in October. We will select the strongest candidates, and make conditional admissions decisions based on academic achievement and the results of the Green Path entrance test. To be eligible for consideration to UTSC, the student must meet all UTSC academic standards and course pre-requisites.

3.Upon receipt of the official conditional admission decision in the beginning of December 2017, the deadline for students to accept the offer and to submit to their school $13,600 program fee (bank draft in Canadian dollars, payable to “University of Toronto”) is Jan 5 2018 . This payment is fully refundable if the student can show proof that he/she has been rejected for a Canadian Study Permit and if the University of Toronto Scarborough refuses the student after receipt of the final middle school transcript in early 2018, the program fee is fully refunded. This payment minus $4,000 is refundable if the student decides not to pursue the Green Path Program for any other reason.The request of refund must be received before April 1, 2018.

4.Your admission offer will be re-evaluated upon reciept of the Chinese middle school graduation examination (Huikao)and the first term result of Grade12(Senior 3)in late January or early February in 2017.Both results must be consistent with the student's strong past performance.The University reserves the right to rescind the offer of admission in the event that both grades from Huikao and Senior 3 do not satisfy the University's admission requirements.

5.The student must provide an official copy of his/her high school graduation diploma along with English translation no later than August 14, 2017.

6. Students must meet all UTSC academic standards and course pre-requisites to be eligible for admission to UTSC.
